My name is Ali, but if you can't remember it, fear not -- I'll answer to just about anything. For example, my friend Lauren calls me Monkey. My friend Nick calls me Sugar. My friend Matt just calls me Ali, or "Hey, you." My coworker Josh calls me either Hoochie or Fuckface, depending on his mood.
(I'm not a hoochie. The nickname is a long story. Ask if you want, I don't care.)
Working in the medical field has given me a deep appreciation for life. I believe that every day is truly a gift, and there's no excuse for wasting time just wallowing in self-pity. I try to live every day as though it's my last day on Earth, and I wholeheartedly believe that everyone should do the same.
